A Sonoma County native, Shawn grew up on his family’s ranch in Santa Rosa, where he raised livestock through Future Farmers of America (FFA) and 4-H. He attended Santa Rosa Junior College before earning a Bachelor's degree in International Business Affairs and Finance from San Diego State University. Fluent in Spanish, Shawn now resides in Santa Rosa with his beautiful wife, Cynthia, and their two sons, James and Joaquin.
